Daily Detour is a trip planner published by Charles Tardif. It lets you plan trips, keep your restaurants and stays, and share this content with friends you explicitly accept. By creating an account, you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
Your trips, notes, photos and comments remain yours. You agree not to post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, misleading or that infringes the rights of others (including photos you don’t hold the rights to). Content is visible only to you and to the friends you have accepted.
Reporting happens in the app. Every feed card, every post, every restaurant, every stay and every profile of another account has a “Report” action, either directly or in the “More actions” menu. Every comment from another account has its own “Report” link. You pick a reason or write your own, and the reported person is never told. Reports are handled within 24 hours, content that breaks these terms is removed and the offending account may be suspended or deleted.
You can also block an account at any time, from their profile or from one of their feed cards, “More actions” menu then “Block”. They no longer see your trips, your restaurants, your stays or your posts, and you no longer see theirs. Your comments and likes on each other’s content are removed, their comments on a mutual friend’s content are hidden from you, and they can no longer send you a friend request or add you to a trip. A share link you had given them remains readable until you turn it off. The list of accounts you have blocked is in Settings, where you can unblock an account, which does not restore the friendship. The owner of a piece of content can delete any comment posted on it.
For any other question, write to ctardif@transacts.fr.
An account is personal. You can delete it at any time from Settings then “Delete my account”, and deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend an account that violates these terms, after notice except in an emergency.
Daily Detour is provided “as is”. Travel information (times, prices, addresses) is for guidance only, check it before you book. The service may change or be interrupted. These terms are governed by French law.
